A Peace Mantra - Om Namo Narayanaya

Swami Vishnu-Devananda, a yoga guru who helped bring the classical yoga teachings to the West, used to act as an ambassador to peace. A mantra he would recommend to his students was "Om Namo Narayanaya." This mantra, to Vishnu (an expression of God as the "preserver" of the universe) is considered to be a peace mantra. Repeat it during troublesome times to bring qualities of peace and calm to yourself and the planet.
