Stephanie Brail is a certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor and wellness coach. In addition to pursuing her Ayurvedic Practitioner certification at Yoga Veda Institute, she has studied herbalism with world-renowned experts David Crow and KP Khalsa in an advanced 6-month internship.

Her interest in holistic healing stemmed from her struggles with chronic illness, and various diagnoses (with many letters!), including Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV), Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), and Benign Cramp Fasciculation Syndrome (BCFS).

Ayurvedic herbs have made a huge difference in her recovery and she went from frequent dizzy spells and bringing a cane on her daily walks to braving a stand-up paddleboard in choppy water in the span of a year. While she is still working on her health issues, she feels strongly that holistic approaches, combined with a doctor’s care, can make a huge difference when it comes to mysterious chronic illnesses.

Stephanie is also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500/E-RYT 200), Certified Long White Cloud Qigong Level 2 Instructor, and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP). Her therapeutic yoga training includes certifications in Restorative Yoga from Judith Lasater; Yoga in Chairs (specializing in MS) from Liz Franklin; and Chair, Senior, and Adaptive Yoga from Holy Yoga. She has recently finished Gentle Somatic Yoga level 1 training with James Knight. She has more than 500 hours of yoga therapy training and has also studied with Gary Kraftsow, Leslie Kaminoff, Bo Forbes, and many other great teachers.

Her life coach training includes Master Life Coach certification through Transformation Academy, Life Breakthrough Coach certification, continuing education through Coachville, and specialized training as a Health and Nutrition Life Coach.

Stephanie is also on the faculty at Reiki Awakening Academy, where she teaches webinars on Ayurveda, sound healing, herbalism, and other healing-related topics.
